  • Description: Offers homeless families a transitional home while they work towards finding permanent housing and stability. Transitional shelter in furnished living units is provided for up to 2 years. Comprehensive case management is provided to help clients become self-sufficient and reduce the risk of future homelessness. Client services include employment readiness, substance abuse counseling, family counseling, money management, adult literacy and vocational education, housing assistance, health and nutrition education, and many children's services. The Esplanade House also includes a conference room, a multipurpose room, and a fenced children's play area.

  • Hours: 24 hour facility for participants. Office hours: M-F: 8am-5pm. Security available M-F: 5am-10:30pm and 8am-10:30pm on weekends.
  • Eligibility: Homeless families are eligible. Additional eligibility criteria and required documents are available on the application. An application is available at the main office and there is a waiting list for receiving housing and services. Participants must have lived in Butte County for the last 30 days to be eligible.
